Synopsis
A murder mystery set in a competitive hairdressing competition. Extravagance and excess collide, as the death of one of their own sows seeds of division in a community whose passion for hair verges on obsession.
Director
Tom’s work as writer/director began with a series of short films, including Radical Hardcore. Following this, with the BFI’s support, Tom recently completed work on the short Pitch Black Panacea. Medusa Deluxe is Tom’s feature debut, produced by EMU Films, and developed and financed by the BFI and BBC Film, it was shot during the covid lockdown in the North of England and will release in 2022.
