Synopsis
Summer of 1976. Bea is 16 years old and joins the winds of change that are sweeping the country; collaborates with a group of women to make the feminist cause visible and achieve the approval of the right to abortion. The rebellion that she feels in her blood will be mixed with an unexpected feeling that will upset her inner world. Throughout these months, Bea will establish a very special friendship with Maider, a girl slightly older than her and from a good family. Her political commitment and her relationship with Maider will turn that summer into a stage that will mark a before and after in her life.
Director
Member of the European Film Academy and the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Sciences. She combined her career as an actress with her work as a director. Her first works were the short films Déjeme que le cuenta (1998) and Lalia (1999). In 2003 she directed her first feature documentary Elena Dimitrievna Diakonova. Gala and in 2007 her first fiction feature film Pretextos.
